Here is my attempt at upgrading Baktehan's swimfins. This project cost me roughly 100 gold after having bought 15 blank scrolls (I used my own moon points) and the regrade cost. The only thing useful that has changed from the original swimfins is the increased amount of sockets with the item level. Which might be ok if you are going to socket them with a speed increase lunagem. From the looks of things the swimming speed increase of 30% has stayed the same with the regrade.

Leveling farming, capentry, handicrafts etc
The first thing you will need is a farm, an 8x8 will do. The second thing you will need is labor and third is time.
To level farming quick you will need to grow potatoes. Picking them does not give you very many points but combined that with using a blue salt knife you can buy at the general merchant you will gain 5 points toward your farming. The chopped produce can sell anywhere from 10 - 20 gold per 1000 depending on the AH.
To level handicraft fairly quickly without using ten tons of mats, grow roses. The picking of the flowers will give 1 point towards gathering. Using the handicraft kin use the rose to make a flirtatious flower. It will cost you 10 roses and 10 labor but give you 10 points towards handicraft.
To level carpentry you can find trees growing in the wild so you not necessarily need a farm to grow them. When you saw the logs to make lumber the points will go towards you labor and you can sell the lumber on the AH
To level gathering Grow azalea flowers they seem to take the shortest amount of time to grow of the flowers at 29 min. You can either grind them up to gain points towards you gathering or sell the flowers as they are. Either way you will make some nice gold from it.
To level husbandry raise chickens if you don't have land because you can raise them in a public farm or if you do have land, raise chickens or geese. You can raise other animals but these are cheap to feed and you can sell the eggs or feathers.
To level leather working raise turkeys or pigs if you want to spend money for the feed. The turkeys are the cheapest to raise and grow in a much shorter time than the pigs. The down side is that they do not produce as much leather and meat like the pigs do.

Need to repair a boat or cart in arche age?
In Arche Age there a many cons going on but if you are aware you can avoid them. One con is where someone will put up something for sale something they bought at the seed or general vendor and sell it for more than it is worth on the auction house or AH . Case in point would be the hour glass used to repair ships and carts. The hour glass you buy from the vendor that says Shatigon's Sandglass:pinch is only good for repairing rowboats.
The one that says Shatigon's Sandglass: spoonful is for haulers and carts which is not sold by a general vendor. You either have to make it with a 10 k alchemist or you can buy it from the AH.
There are both kinds of hourglasses in the AH listing below The icons for both look alike so if you are not paying attention you will get conned.
What you could do (although it will not work in all cases) is to type in the exact name in the search. If you type in "rose" for example you will notice that seeds for the roses come up too with the grown roses in the search. You can tell the difference in two ways. The first way is the seeds will have a white dot next to the plant and second. if the name is short enough you will see the word seed next to the plant type.

Arche age armor quests.
I found this post on reddit about arche age armor. What I did not know about these quests was how do I get from one area to another. When I tried to get to Karkasse Ridgelands with a friend we kept getting clobbered by the west side players and guards. We decided to split up, my friend went one way and I went another. Like a dumb ass I found myself trying to sneak by 4 level 50's in stealth mode near their starting area. When they saw me they started to follow me around. Just fyi the stealth in Arche Age does not work like wow's. Anyway, they beat the hell out of me and I ended up back near the beginning of the area. My friend used his glider and manged to fly over most of the area with great difficulty because he kept sliding down the side of the mountains taking fall damage but he did make it. What we did not know (because we did not do much questing) was that there are gates to take you to certain places. So to save you the hassle if you want to got to Sanddeep the gate is in between Silent forest and Rookeborne Basin. My dot is the little blue one. I am on the road you take to get to the gate. The red swirl in the second picture is the gate.
here is the world gate to Karkasse Ridgelands from Hasla
